Excess of the real growth in prices for housing services in 2007 over the forecast will be minimal, and in 2008-2009 – 3.4%, the head of the Federal Tariff Service of Russia (FTS), Sergei Novikov in the “government hour” in the State Duma.
“In 2007, the maximum possible change by no more than 0.5%, in 2008-2009 the deviations from the forecast of 3-4%,” – he said.
Forecast growth rates for housing over the next three years, FTS formed in August, and in February 2007 it is expected to adopt the Russian government, reminiscent of the “Interfax”. According to the forecast, the utility rates in 2007 will increase by no more than 15%, in 2008 – 13%, in 2009 – 11-12%. However, taking into account the tolerance out the same 15%.
Deviations from the forecast, according to Novikov, will be called an active investment process in the housing, not the Governments decision on pricing in the electricity and gas sector. This factor in the period up to 2011 a sharp impact on utility rates have not, the head of the FTS.
