New shopping and hotel complex “Kremlin” will open in fall 2008

In autumn 2008, in front of the Kremlins Spassky Tower opens trading center “Kremlin”. It will be located at Red Square, 5, in the historical building of the Middle Trading Rows, built in the late 19th century.

The project of reconstruction of the complex, which will begin in late 2006 and should be completed in September 2008, presented at a news conference in Moscow, Manager of the President Igor Kozhin.

Currently, the complex is administered by the Office of Presidential Affairs. It represents the four domestic buildings surrounded the perimeter of the main building, which is a monument of federal importance.

At a press conference Gnusarev Alexander, chairman of the board of directors “of United Industrial Corporation,” which is an investor in the project, the reconstruction will cost at least $ 150 million.

It is planned that in “Kremlin” will house a luxury hotel, a Russian auction house, as well as residential apartments in the inner building of the complex.
